The Wii Remote is the default controller of the Nintendo Wii console and
is used to control the majority of the Wii games. It is shaped like a standard
television remote control and so is very familiar and the buttons are very
simple and so easy to use.
The Wii remote has the motion sensetive technology and so most of the control
that you do with the remote is in actually waving it around in the air which
is then represented in the game that you are playing. It also has A and B buttons
with the A button being the most commonly used and there are also a series
of other buttons should a game need them.
The Wii remote also has some other cool features; it has a built-in speaker
which provides some very cool sound effets as they are delivered to your current
loation and so sounds like impacts on your character can be delivered to you
which is very cool. And it also has the rumble feature which makes the remote
vibrate and this is often used in games to offer tension.
The Nintendo Wii console comes with one remote and so for multi player games
you are going to need to buy at least one more remote and multi player games
are much more fun and what the Wii is all about and so we strongly recomend
that you buy some extra remotes. They can be quite expensive though and so
it is very wise to shop around and look for the cheap deals, to make this easy
